Dharma/Arte is a Brazilian non-profit organization acknowledged by the Brazilian government, dedicated to exploring the intersection between dharma, art, creativity and transformative experiences. (Learn more about Dharma/Arte…)

Dharma/Arte’s events and projects, including D/A Magazine and our blog D/A Dots, are possible only with the active participation of readers like you.

PARTICIPATE

There are many ways to get involved:

1. Check out our Programs page and if you come to Brazil, please join us. You can also join us at our D/A Online Encounters, an opportunity of dialogue for teachers, artists and everyone inspired by Dharma/Arte’s mission.

2. Become a collaborator of D/A Magazine and of our blogs, and share your texts, images and sounds on our sites. For more information, please email redes@dharma.art.br.

3. Become a member of Dharma/Arte.

Dharma/Arte’s activities take an average of 450 hours each month — to curate, translate and edit the contents of our sites, and to keep an active communication with artists, teachers and people interested in our mission. Dharma/Arte depends on the generosity of people like you, who recognize the importance of what we do and are willing to collaborate.

Sustaining members of Dharma/Arte have full access to the contents of D/A Magazine and to our online programs, and can be identified on our publicity and printed material, as supporters of this initiative to establish a dharma art culture in Brazil.

Dharma/Arte offers different membership options, and you can make your donation using PayPal. See a list of the benefits for members of Dharma/Arte and become a member.

4. Become a partner or support specific projects:

Brazilian edition of True Perception: The Path of Dharma Art, by Chögyam Trungpa, which will be published by Dharma/Arte. For becoming a Patron of the Brazilian edition of the book and other options of partnership, please contact us

_ Inside Out Project, a community empowering project led by French artist JR, winner of the TED Prize 2011. Dharma/Arte has been invited to participate in the project, and we’re forming work groups in Brazil and US. Participate. Contact us for more information.

_ Programs 2012: we’re in conversation with potential partners for our activities in 2012 — in the areas of contemplative photography and arts, and creative processes. Become a partner of Dharma/Arte. Contact us for more information.

5. Become a volunteer: Dharma/Arte constantly needs volunteers for specific short-term tasks in graphic design, desktop publishing and other areas. Most of our activities depend on Brazilian volunteers. Others, however, are open to foreign collaborators, and in fact their presence may enrich our team. For more information, email redes@dharma.art.br.
